How to call the police in Russia?
Russia is no more dangerous than other countries. But, of course, here are pickpockets, especially in popular tourist spots. Therefore, for your safety use the same rules as everywhere.
Calling the police in Russia
If you are a victim of a wrongdoing, ask someone to help you - shout:

PAMAGITE ! - "Help!" in English

VYZAVITE PALITSIYU ! - "Call the police!" in English

or call the following numbers yourself and use the following phrases.

102 - (only for mobile phones)
02 - (only for fixed phones, incl taxophones on the street)

If you are arrested,

the police are obliged to allow you to communicate with your embassy or consulate without delay. In Russian, the phrase "I want to call my embassy" is - Ya khachu pazvanit v mayo pasolstva.

You are not obligated to talk to the police without a lawyer and an interpreter present.
