Peter and Paul Orthodox Cathedral in Peterhof
Construction began in 1882 by decree of Emperor Alexander II. Opened in 1905.
Please note that this is not a museum, but a functioning temple where services are held. We ask visitors, if possible, to observe the Orthodox canons - men must take off their hats at the entrance, and women, on the contrary, must cover their heads with a scarf or an object replacing it (there is a free rental).
Entrance is free, however, a small fee may be charged for climbing the colonnade (from there a magnificent panorama of Peterhof opens).
